Prize winners o the Clasp, Gold, Silver and Bronze piobaireachd medals

Clasp and Medal Winners, March 30-31, 2024
Greg Wilson of Tai Tapu won the Former Winners Gold Clasp for piobaireachd a record 17th time…. possibly a world record for the number of times a piper has won a major prize.


Stephen Ross won the Gold Medal and will have the opportunity to play in the Gold Clasp next year.

 

Maggie McConnichie won the Silver Medal and also the New Zealand Championship Piobaireachd for pipers younger than 21.


Up and coming piper Ralph Hunter won the Bronze medal.  Well done Ralph!
